On the way back, the adventure continues through the scenic Highlands with a stop at Eldgjá, one of Iceland's most impressive volcanic fissures. Here, guests have the opportunity to explore the area and hike to the beautiful Ófærufoss waterfall.

The amount of time available at Eldgjá depends on how much time the group chooses to spend in Landmannalaugar. Guests who prefer longer hikes or more time enjoying the geothermal hot spring in Landmannalaugar will have less time to explore Eldgjá, allowing the day to be tailored to their preferences.
